Visit This Free Indoor Play Space

We love a free indoor play structure and this one at Tansley Woods Community Centre is perfect for little kiddos. It’s got climbers of varying heights and a slide, all enclosed in a room with windows on all sides. This spot is perfect for kids under 8. When you’re done, be sure to visit Tansley Woods park and Japanese garden.

Visit The Children’s Discovery Gallery

The Children’s Discovery Gallery at Joseph Brant Museum is a hands-on exhibit that encourages kids to touch, moe, play and learn as they explore. Designed around Burlington landmarks and resources, kids can peddle a bike and track their distance, move "water" from the lake to inland destinations and more!

Check Out The New Appleby Library

Just renovated, and now home to a massive community gathering space for all ages, the New Appleby branch of the BPL system is gorgeous! Explore The BPL Discovery Zone

Drop in Play at Supreme Cheerleading

Join Supreme Cheerleading every Thursday from 10:00-11:30am for bouncing, running, climbing, sensory play, obstacle courses and so much more. Parent and Tot open gym is perfect for children ages 0-5 and their parent/guardian. Cost: $10+hst for 1 child and 1 parent/guardian. Add 1 additional adult/child for $5 each.

Visit The New Hamilton Children's Museum

It's open and perfect for little people! EVerything is meant to be touched and played with. Kids will love sailing boats and exploring waterfalls. Then they can flex their imaginations while dressing up or gardening. Check out the science area and the chill zone where you can snuggle up with a book! It's free with your HPL library cards or you can pay at the door when you arrive.

Drop In Play at Gymalaya Burlington

Looking for something to do with the kids? Bring your children to Gymalaya Burlington for unstructured drop in play time and gymnastics fun. Your kids will love jumping on the trampoline, rolling on the mats, climbing on the wall bars and swinging on the rings and rope. Coaching staff is available for questions and occasional parachute games. Open to kids 4 and under. Register in advance to hold your space.

Nostalgia Cafe is A Quaint Escape

Nostalgia Cafe in Burlington is home to hot fresh coffee, sandwiches, and an adorable play space. Grab a drink and/or snack and cozy in for a catch-up while your little ones play together. $7 per person. Bigger kiddos will love the board game cafe vibes with close to 100 games to choose from! Preschool Gymnastics Drop-In

Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their kids ages walking to 5 years old. Admission is $15 for the first child and $7 for their sibling(s). 2 children per adult. This unstructured, unsupervised time allows kids to explore the gym, enjoy a playdate and make new friends. A certified coach sets up fun circuits each week for the kids to enjoy.

Bouncers and balls with HamOnt Sports

Let your child run free and wild! Our open indoor field space is filled with bouncers, balls, hoops, cones, and plenty of room to play and explore. Both Soccer World and Wentworth Sports Complex offer climate-controlled spaces, perfect for preschoolers when you need to “get out of the house” but the weather keeps you from going to the park. $10 per child, adults free.
