Can you believe that July 1st is around the corner?! We sure can’t! It’s so exciting to see the return of many in-person Canada Day fireworks in Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and beyond. In this article, to help you and your family make the most of the Canada Day weekend, you’ll find a list of all the fireworks displays and festivals to mark this special occasion!

On July 1st, Canada comes alive with an enchanting symphony of colours, illuminating the night sky as communities across the country gather to mark Canada Day with breathtaking fireworks. The mesmerizing displays capture the essence of celebration, filling the air with anticipation and excitement. From coast to coast, families and friends eagerly await this annual spectacle, creating lasting memories amidst the dazzling bursts of light. Join the Joseph Brant Museum in celebrating Canada Day with their view of the Burlington fireworks from their roof! In addition to seeing the Burlington fireworks, there will be live entertainment, hourly draws, lawn games, beer tasting, pizza and museum tours, alongside snacks from the concession booths and an ice cream soda booth! Burlington Canada Day Celebrations

Join the City of Burlington in its Canada Day celebrations with a party in the park! The day starts off with Yoga and the Canada Day Run. Later in the afternoon, there will be live entertainment, food & marketplace vendors, and family activities. The night will end with fireworks over Lake Ontario starting at 10 pm!

Hamilton Canada Day At Bayfront Park

The City of Hamilton is throwing a FREE Canada Day extravaganza for the whole family at Bayfront Park! Enjoy children’s recreation and art activities and when the sun sets, make sure you stick around for the grand finale! At 10 pm, prepare to be dazzled by a spectacular custom fireworks display that will light up the night sky.

Oakville Canada Day Celebrations

Enjoy an evening of free performances and family fun at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park on Saturday, July 1. Activities and food trucks will open at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m. (weather permitting).

Waterdown Oh Canada! Ribfest

Come for the famous ribs and then stay for the Canada Day fireworks in Hamilton! Waterdown’s Ribfest also brings you live music, marketplace vendors, midway rides the kids will love, SkateJam and more! Details here.

Milton Canada Day Celebrations

Join the City of Milton with a wide array of live entertainment, diverse food choices, arts & crafts, and fun activities for the whole family at the Fair Grounds. See Hands-On Exotics, face painters, a giant sand pile and mascots. And don’t forget the Canada Day fireworks show under the stars! Details here.

Mississauga Celebration Square Celebration

Mississauga’s Celebration Square will play host to five live musical acts, food trucks, family activities and fireworks over the square! Details here.

Paint the Town Red Port Credit

The Port Credit Community Association hosts the only Canada Day Parade in the GTA! With live musical performances, appearances by Heroes & Princesses, crafts & games for kids, and much more. This full-day event is one the whole family will enjoy! Details here.

Brantford’s Canada Day Festival

Brantford’s Canada Day is an event that brings our community together to share our pride and gratitude for living in this great nation. Join us on July 1st for a day filled with live music, family-friendly fun. Activities include Blue’s Clues story times, meet and greets with Blue and Paw Patrol characters, performances, live music, midway rides, pony rides, and more!

Price: Free admission, ponies and rides are additional costs.

Niagara Falls Fireworks over the Falls

Niagara Falls will be illuminated in red & white lights while the Canada Day fireworks show blasts above them! A classic Canada Day celebration that is worth the drive to the Falls.

Canada’s Wonderland Fireworks

Canada’s Wonderland will host a fireworks display at 10 pm, so if you’ve got plans to visit the park for the day, stick around because, following that, you’ll be treated to a great quality fireworks display to celebrate Canada Day.
