In this article, to help you and your family make the most of the Canada Day weekend, you’ll find a list of all the fireworks displays and festivals to mark this special occasion!
On July 1st, Canada comes alive with an enchanting symphony of colours, illuminating the night sky as communities across the country gather to mark Canada Day with breathtaking fireworks. The mesmerizing displays capture the essence of celebration, filling the air with anticipation and excitement. From coast to coast, families and friends eagerly await this annual spectacle, creating lasting memories amidst the dazzling bursts of light. Fireworks embody the spirit of joy and wonder, reminding us of the joyous moments that make our country and her citizens so special.
Fireworks from the Rooftop
Join the Joseph Brant Museum in celebrating Canada Day with their view of the Burlington fireworks from their roof! In addition to seeing the Burlington fireworks, guests will enjoy classic Canadian treats including pizza, chicken wings, butter tarts, and Nanaimo bars. Beverages include beer from Northern Crow Brewing and a signature sangria. There will be giant lawn games available to play and live music from Hayley Verrall throughout the evening. Burlington Canada Day Celebrations
Join the City of Burlington in its Canada Day celebrations with a party in the park! The day starts off with Yoga in the Park at 9:00 am and the Canada Day Run. Later in the afternoon, there will be live entertainment throughout the day, great food & marketplace vendors, dog shows and inflatable zone from noon till 7:00 pm. The night will end with fireworks and a drone show over Lake Ontario starting at 10:00 pm!

Hamilton Canada Day At Bayfront Park
The City of Hamilton is throwing a FREE Canada Day extravaganza for the whole family at Bayfront Park! Enjoy children’s recreation and art activities and when the sun sets, make sure you stick around for the grand finale! At 10 pm, prepare to be dazzled by a spectacular custom fireworks display that will light up the night sky.

Oakville Canada Day Celebrations
The fun starts at 4 p.m. with performances by local community groups and the opportunity for attendees to try a variety of sports, make crafts, have their faces painted and visit community booths. Starting at 6 p.m. on the main stage, Juno award-winning artist Chris McKhool’s Earth, Seas & Air Concert and Cajun band Swamperella will perform, followed by Oakville-raised headliners, The Lonely Hearts. Waterdown Oh Canada! Ribfest

Brantford’s Canada Day Festival
Brantford’s Canada Day is an event that brings our community together to share our pride and gratitude for living in this great nation. Join us on July 1st for a day filled with live music, family-friendly fun. Activities include Paw Patrol story times, meet and greets with Trolls and Paw Patrol characters, performances, live music, midway rides, pony rides, and more! Find the whole schedule here.

Niagara Falls Fireworks over the Falls
Niagara Falls will be illuminated in red & white lights while the Canada Day fireworks show blasts above them! A classic Canada Day celebration that is worth the drive to the Falls.

Canada’s Wonderland Fireworks
Canada’s Wonderland will host a fireworks display at 10:00 pm, so if you’ve got plans to visit the park for the day, stick around because, following that, you’ll be treated to a great quality fireworks display to celebrate Canada Day.
