Tobogganing Hills in Hamilton

Hamilton City Council has approved four hills within the City as designated for tobogganing.  Effective December 22, 2017, residents are permitted to toboggan on these hills:


Garth and Stonechurch Reservoir

1515 Garth Street, Hamilton

Hill details: Northeast corner, South side (East of parking lot)


King’s Forest Golf Course

100 Greenhill Avenue, Hamilton

Hill details: Hole #9 – in front of the 9th green


Waterdown Memorial Park

200 Hamilton Street, Waterdown

Hill details: Northeast corner, West of baseball diamond #3


Chedoke Golf Course – Martin Course

563 Aberdeen Avenue, Hamilton

Closure Notice:
For the 2019-2020 tobogganing season, the Chedoke Golf Course – Martin Course, Hole #10 hill will not be a permitted hill as there will be Winter Golf taking place on the Martin Course.

Hill details: Martin Course, Hole #10- Tee
