Our mission is to create a community where participation in the arts is not limited by income, ability or life circumstances. When school's out, a little one's energy to create is still abuzz! We've got solutions for the budding artist in your family. Camps run from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. and are open to kids in JK-Grade 6. Artshine Camps are currently run in 2 Kitchener locations and 1 Waterloo.
Get ready for a week of creativity and fun in the studio! Campers will be creating original, hands-on projects in drawing, painting, and much more. Lots of interactive games and artmaking are in store.
Day Camps are a long-standing children’s program at THEMUSEUM. Since 2008, our campers have had a fantastic time at THEMUSEUM! We aim to awe, inspire and enlighten through our engaging educational camp programs in person. Day Camps (ages 5– 12) and The Underground Studio MakerSpace Camps (ages 9 – 14) for Winter Break, March Break, PD Days and Summer Break.
Campers spend the day in one of our cheerleading gyms learning the fundamentals of cheerleading including stunts, jumps and tumbling. There is also tons of games, arts and crafts and other traditional day camp programming.
Our camps give your child the opportunity to become a scientist for the day through hands-on experiments and activities that allow them to think about the world through a new lens!
Region of Waterloo Museums offer week-long summer day camps, march break camps and Professional Development Day camps throughout the year. Each site offers engaging hands on activities for campers ages 5-12.
We run day and overnight camps and back-country camping trips for ages 5-16. Our main location is near Sauble Beach but operate local KW camps as well.
