Most definitely! This list of farms with pick-your-own strawberries provides you with all of the info we could find online. Like with everything that can be affected by weather, we suggest you check with your preferred farm before you head out to pick in case all of their strawberries have been picked. Weather plays a huge part in ripening and how many visitors a farm has. No one wants that kind of disappointment!

Prices, quantity and quality will vary from farm to farm, as will hours. As this info is released we will update our guide.

The Best Local Farms for Strawberry Picking in Hamilton

Lindley’s Farm and Market

Address: 900 Fiddler’s Green Rd, Ancaster, ON L9G 3L1

Sadly the farm has closed permanently, after 180 years in service.

Marcy’s Berries

Address: 1747 Valens Rd N, Hamilton, ON

Marcy’s Berries is a family farm offering ready-picked and you-pick strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries! Watch their Facebook page for daily updates and weather closures.

2025 Pricing:

  • Pick-your-own strawberry pricing is $5/litre and $15 for a 3L basket.
  • Ready-picked strawberries are also available

G & C Farms

Address: 451 Book Road East, Ancaster, ON

G & C Farms runs on 7 generations of farming experience. Their farms produce everything from beets to kale to zucchini, all throughout the summer and fall. While they have a variety of vegetables to pick throughout the harvest season, we are waiting to hear about their pick-your-own strawberries. Keep watching here for more info because it won’t be long now!

Jerry’s Berries

Address: 5 Orkney Road, Copetown, Ontario, L0R 1T0

No strawberries here, but if you love raspberries I can personally vouch for the yumminess of Jerry’s Berries! We went late in the season last year and they were still plenty to pick and they were delicious. Don’t stop at just raspberries! Make sure to visit their roadside stand for more just-picked goods and their honey and preserves. Jerry’s Berries is home to over 30 bee hives and they have their own beekeeper, Josif!

Jerry’s has online shopping and onsite experiences including raspberry picking and Farm Crawl.

Murphy’s Country Produce

Address: 2040 Guyatt Road, R.R. # 1, Binbrook, ON, L0R 1C0

Murphy’s has pre-picked and pick your own produce. The farm market will be opening in June 2024. Pick your own is coming soon for “strawberries, peas, fava beans, raspberries, zucchini, okra, melons, cucumbers, pickling cukes, slicing cucumbers, green & yellow beans, eggplant, tomato’s, brussels sprouts, romano beans, sweet & hot peppers, pumpkins, and squash.” Bring your own container or buy a basket. Call (905) 692-5733 to know what’s in season and for daily crop reports. Interac, VISA and Master Card accepted.

Pack a picnic and extend your visit by eating in the picnic area. Cold drinks, chips and chocolate bars available for purchase.
