Burlington, Ontario is home to a growing sports community, with a variety of local programs available for all ages and skill levels. From hockey to soccer, basketball to baseball, the city has many options for families to get involved in sports. Our list gives you a closer look at some of the sports programs available in Burlington.
How do you know what sport League to choose?
You found us for one of two reasons: Maybe because your kiddo has already shown an interest or aptitude for spots, and you’re just looking for a league. Or, because your are overwhelmed by all of your options and you want to narrow it down a little. I love that, and I just know you’ll find a great program below.
If your little sports fan has a variety of passions, you can narrow it down with their help. Look for a “multi-sport” league where kids get the chance to try a variety of sports to see which ones they love and which ones they are great at. Each week or session focuses on a new sport. Kids will learn the skills and rules of the game, and if they don’t like it, you’ve not spent hundreds of dollars to find that out!

Fuel your kid’s growth with KidStrong Camp. At KidStrong we believe in making progress daily. That means learning can’t stop just because school’s out. Join us at KidStrong Camp to continue building confidence, strength and independence. How is our Camp different? Unique curriculum that blends learning, movement and fun through superhero-themed games and ninja courses. Each session is different and focuses on developing or enhancing skills like confidence, physical fitness, teamwork and more. Two world-class, certified coaches lead every camp session. KidStrong Camp is for ages 4 to 9 years old. KidStrong membership is not required to attend.

A spin-off from our Women on the Water series, this half-day weekly series is designed to help get your tween out on the water enjoying healthy active life in the sunshine, learning skills & making friends.

The Burlington Centaurs Rugby Football Club is a community volunteer organization who have served the City of Burlington and the surrounding area for over 45 years. The Burlington Soccer Club is proud to offer the Embracing Ability program in partnership with the Special Olympics, Partners in Play. This is an integrated program designed for anyone between the ages of 6 and 14 with and/or without developmental and/or physical disabilities who are interested in learning more about the FUNdamentals of soccer.
Burloak Canoe Club is one of Canada's leading flat-water Olympic canoe-kayak racing clubs. We offer summer camps for 8-14 year olds to have fun on the water.

Little Yogis is a mobile Yoga & Mindfulness program for kids aged 2 - 13 years in the Halton Region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Georgetown) with the goal of improving physical, mental, and emotional health through our curriculum. Little Yogis partners with schools, childcare centres, non-profit and for-profit organizations to improve the health and wellness of our communities. Oakville Swim Academy Day Camp offers fun-filled activities throughout the day with TWO swimming lessons led by our phenomenal Instructors and Deck Supervisors. Keep your kids active and happy this break while practicing such an important life skill: Swimming. Each day will include an hour of pool time and special camp activities, such as games, crafts, and more. Fun, play-based programming is designed by our experienced and energetic Camp Counsellors. Campers will spend their time doing exciting activities, swimming, and developing life-long friendships with their co-campers! Drop-off time is 8:00 AM, and pick-up time is 4:00 PM each day. Open gym program is a supervised non-instructional drop-in program. Participants are encouraged to train on our parkour equipment and use the spring floor to work on their acrobatic skills.

Welcome to our Hockey Camps! HALF-DAY CAMPS 9:00AM TO 12:00PM. Each day includes One Power Skating Session and One Puck Control Session. Drop off 9:00am & Pick Up 12:00pm. The typical age range is between 5 – 12 years old.
Our model allows young athletes to play hockey, soccer, and lacrosse with minimal conflicts between programs and prevents specializing in one sport too early.
Each location has swimming lessons for kids starting as early as 6 months old, right up to lifeguard status. Special needs programs are 1:1 and available as well.
