Job Title: Outbound Sales Manager (Remote, Part-Time)

Location: Halton, Hamilton, Niagara Regions (Remote)
Hours: 5-10 hours per week (flexible, commission-based)

Active Parents is a trusted, hyperlocal website connecting families to local events and activities. We’re a staple for parents in the Halton, Hamilton, and Niagara regions, helping them find fun, family-friendly activities while also supporting local businesses. Our platform has a dedicated following, and we’re looking for an Outbound Sales Manager to help us grow and deepen our connections with the local community.

Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly organized, self-motivated individual who’s deeply connected to the heartbeat of the community. As our Outbound Sales Manager, you’ll work from home, reaching out to local businesses, fostering partnerships, and driving advertising opportunities on Active Parents. Your role will be commission-based, with the potential to scale up or down based on your availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with local businesses that align with Active Parents’ audience.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to secure advertising and partnership opportunities.
  • Present and pitch advertising solutions, such as sponsored content, banner ads, or social campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the team to tailor advertising packages to client needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals while working flexible hours.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong connections and understanding of the Halton, Hamilton, and Niagara regions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Self-driven with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Own a computer with reliable internet access.
  • Fluent in English.
