Conservation Halton’s Ways of the Woods (WOW) is the ultimate outdoor adventure day camp. WOW offers a dynamic, nature-based summer camp experience for kids aged 4 to 15, with programming at parks like Kelso, Mountsberg, Crawford Lake, and Area 8. In 2026, the WOW camp season runs for a total of ten weeks. With over 20 unique camp streams, WOW has something for every age and interest. Younger campers can enjoy action-packed Kinder and Primary programs. Older kids can choose from specialty camps like Construction Camp, where they take on fun and practical building projects; Naturalist Camp, focused on ecology and outdoor skills; and Raptor Camp, where they’ll learn about birds of prey. There’s also Farm Camp, perfect for animal lovers; Climbers Camp, featuring daily time on our climbing tower and aerial ropes course; and Disc Golf Camp, where kids practice and play on Kelso’s 18-hole course. Campers spend their days outside—hiking, practicing archery, learning about the environment, and making friends through fun camp games and more. Swimming is available at Kelso at least once a week, depending on the stream. Teens looking to develop their leadership skills can join Counsellor in Training (CIT) Camp, a great way to gain experience and confidence working with children in a supportive environment. WOW supports busy families with free bus transportation from 21 locations across Milton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Guelph and Georgetown. Extended care is available at Kelso, with early drop-off and late pick-up options. To learn more and register, visit conservationhalton.ca/wow.
