Storytime and Henna with local Author Zain Bandali

For children 6- 10 years of age accompanied by an adult.

Join us and meet local author Zain Bandali as he reads from his illustrated chapter book Mehndi Boy.  Mehndi Boy, was a Silver Birch Express Nominee and was recognized as a “Best Bet” by the Ontario Library Association and as a “Best Book for Kids” by the New York Public Library in 2023. 
Following the program, the children will have the opportunity to choose a simple henna design to be drawn on their hand.
