Ancaster Fair

The Ancaster Fair is back for its 175th year in 2025, running from September 18 to 21 at the Ancaster Fairgrounds in Hamilton. This beloved fall tradition is a true celebration of community, agriculture, and family fun. Over four days, the fairgrounds will be buzzing with energy as visitors explore livestock barns filled with cattle, horses, poultry, and rabbits, admire homecraft exhibits of baking, canning, photography, and crafts, and cheer on the excitement of the horse shows and the always-popular demolition derby.

For families, the Ancaster Fair offers plenty to keep kids entertained. The midway is packed with rides and games for all ages, and there are hands-on opportunities to get up close with farm animals. School-aged children even get free admission until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while preschoolers are free all weekend, making it an affordable outing for parents.
