Minecraft and Math in Nature

Join us as we use Minecraft as a creative gateway to explore math patterns found in the natural world. By playing the interactive game, discussing, and building, folks will learn the Fibonacci sequence of plants, shells, and flowers and learn how patterns contribute to the efficient growth of nature. You’ll leave this workshop seeing math as something enjoyable, useful, and relevant to the real world.
