Flower Power with Dan the Nature Man

For children 8-12 years of age. Please note: Each child requires their own library card to register. Please dress for the weather, as we will head outdoors for a short time. 

Flowers are beautiful, even in winter! Dan the Nature Man will take us on a journey through the flower world. Why are they so colourful? Why do they smell nice? What happens to them in the fall and winter? We’ll make bouquets from winter flowers to take home, and (weather permitting) head outside to look for the flowers that are getting ready to grow in the spring!
