Will I see YOU at The Foodie Show today? The Burlington MADE Foodie Show is a celebration of the Burlington area’s growing independent food scene. Come taste, savour and take home some of the best cuisine and artisanal food products our area has to offer, from haute cuisine to guilty pleasures.


Get the ol’ running shoes on and drop into Family Play Fit at Brant Hills (morning) or Tansley Woods (afternoon) community centers, where you and the kids will learn to stretch your coordination and balance and fitness levels to their peak – all while having a great time together!


Hey, Grownups! Brush up on those bedtimes by attending Storytime 101 at Burlington Public Library where you’ll learn tips and ideas to put even Robert Munsch’s story-telling to shame!


Grab your friends and family and celebrate Sat-ART-day by creating some masterpieces using supplies from the Loose Parts table.


At Michael’s craft stores, kids can be led in creating seasonal and fabulous crafts by a Michaels staff member. Always age appropriate and Instagram-worthy! This week, kids will make creepy cobweb critters!


Join Burlington Public Library as they celebrate Waste Reduction Week by learning how to turn your T-shirts into yarn to make a few projects.


Family Storytimes are a special storytime at the library perfect for families with children 5 and younger.


Attention toy-lovers, it’s Open House Day at Indigo! Join them for a day of toy demos with the brands you love! Unplug, test your skills & make your own fun!


Love to play basketball? Come practice your 3-pointer or work on your jump shot, youth can drop-in to shoot some hoops. Ages 8-18.


Celebrate the colours of fall during Autumn Harvest in Downtown Oakville with a hayride and activities throughout the downtown.


Make cute T-shirts featuring ghosts and bats and gravestones, oh my! Buy the T-shirt from Michaels, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided.


Hey eco-explorers! Whether we take a stroll outside or bring the outside in, come for hands-on activities and crafts to learn about the world around us.


Drop into the Library for a Family Flick! Big screen fun with your friends and family – for free!






Drop into Burlington’s Open Gym time for families. This is your opportunity to shoot some hoops, practice your shots, and get in a little active time with your family.


The Art Gallery of Burlington opens its Creative Hub for a weekly open studio art class for families. Drop in and create something wonderful – all supplies are provided and it’s free!


The Burlington Furry Friends 5K is a 5K run or walk event that you do with or without a dog to raise money for the Burlington Humane Society. You get an event T-shirt, your dog gets a bandana and you also get a paw print shaped medal at the finish line, all while raising money for a great cause!


Come out to Westfield Heritage Village for Pumpkin Sunday and enjoy pumpkin-themed games, activities and a craft, all within the village’s beautiful, historic setting. You will want to bring your camera to capture this very special day.


At the Ultimate Slime Party, you choose from a variety of colors of slime to customize with an assortment of mix-ins. Michaels will provide the supplies, including the premade slime.

During Ontario Public Library Week, help yourself and the community by paying your overdue fines with unexpired* canned and dry food items to benefit local food banks. One food item equals $1 in fines!


Explore the Waterdown Village to see all 60+ scarecrows! Vote for your favourite scarecrow for your chance to win one of two $200 shopping sprees.


It’s time for Springridge Farm’s Harvest Festival! Weekends beginning Saturday, Harvest Festival activities include A Professional Puppet Show, wagon ride to the 5-acre Corn Trail, Boo Barn, Spiderweb Climber, Farm Yard Pipe Slide, Access to the Fun Farm Yard.
