The Oakville Fire team will share tips on how to keep children safe from burns and scalds\, information about smoke and fire detection systems\, and how to plan and practice home escape plans. \nThe events are supported by Fortino’s South Oakville and Panago Pizza\, with pizza slices\, water\, and pop available for purchase. All proceeds go to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. \nEvents will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at: \n\nJuly 9 – Valleyridge Park\nJuly 16 – Wynten Park\nJuly 23 – Sixteen Hollow Park\nJuly 30 – Neyagawa Park\nAugust 6 –Valleybrook Park\nAugust 13 – Fowley Park\nAugust 20 – Forster Park (with Movies in the Park)\n\n  \nIn case of rain\, crews will visit the next day (6 to 8 p.m.).  \n  \nFire safety is an important part of protecting what matters most\, and crews look forward to seeing the community out this summer!
