Eighty years later\, the Mynarski Memorial Lancaster\, sometimes affectionately known as VeRA\, is a staple of Southern Ontario skies. There is no better day than Canada Day to mark the occasion\, and all are welcome at VeRA’s birthday party! \nThe Lancaster will be taking to the skies for her first passenger flights of the season at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm (weather and aircraft permitting). \nIn true birthday fashion\, there will be free birthday cake for everyone\, and kids under 18 visit free!

In air fighting\, this officer has been responsible for three enemy aircraft.
