DESCRIPTION:Join the Fall Into Nature fun and come out for the Little Angler’s Fishing Derby on Sunday\, October 5 at Area 8 Conservation Area! Kids 8 years old and under can enter the derby and fish off the docks or rocks\, or rent a canoe or kayak and get on the water to track down the biggest fish. New to the derby this fall: additional prizes for catching special tagged fish and a fish stocking experience you can add to your booking. Read on to learn more and then join the derby by purchasing tickets at the link below. Tickets are limited\, so don’t want too long to get yours! \nAs part of our restoration efforts\, Conservation Halton has been stocking the Area 8 reservoir with native species for several years. To support restoration\, all fish that are caught must be released back into the reservoir.
