Thanks to the Weekend Wrap Up, when the weekend rolls around, you’ll always have a few dozen things to do with kids up your sleeve to stave off the boredom and maximize the quality time!

 

Saturday

Get a jump start on your holiday shopping at The 67th Annual Mistletoe Mart! Local artisans, baked goods and plenty of vendors help you cross some names on your nice list.

 

Family Play Fit is the place to experience and enhance your child’s FUNdamental Movement Skills by trying out our Physical Literacy stations at your own pace. Come back week after week to enhance your child’s skills.

 

If you are looking for a fun activity to do with the family, Home Depot has a great workshop for kids that will teach them about building. Kids can learn how to build their very own snowman decoration free! (RR)

 

Cineplex’s $2.99 Family Favourites movies continue every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy time with your family and friends! This week the feature film is Dora and the Lost City of Gold.

 

Love to play basketball? Come practice your 3-pointer or work on your jump shot, youth can drop-in to shoot some hoops at Brant Hills Community Centre at 1 pm.

 

Take a jump in the deep end! The City of Burlington has multiple drop-in swim times all weekend. Or lace up your skates and glide over to a drop-in skating or sticks and pucks session.

 

 

Sunday

 

Drop into the City of Burlington’s open gym time for families. This is your opportunity to shoot some hoops, practise your shots, and get in a little active time with your family. Ages 5-12 with an adult.

 

Open Studio at the Art Gallery of Burlington – Drop into this family-friendly creative space where kids and parents are encouraged to tap into their artistic side!
