Rockin’ Jump Burlington
Business Description:

The ultimate Trampoline Park – Now in Burlington!
The Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park Journey
We’re actually pretty easy to understand. We’re people like you who want to exercise, but also like to have fun. Lots of fun. So instead of stairclimbers and weight machines, we decided to create a place where you can soar in open jump arenas, dive into pools of soft foam cubes, play trampoline dodgeball, do flips and somersaults. We also wanted a new alternative for birthday parties and family gatherings, where quality food and private party rooms were guaranteed, and our kids could safely play while we socialized with other parents.

STEM Camp
Business Description:

STEM Camp provides learning experiences through fun and engaging programming that encourages campers to explore their sense of wonder. Children aged 5 to 13 are introduced to hands-on STEM activities that promote discovery, reward curiosity, and leave children amazed at what they can do! For 2019, we prepared incredible themes:
– Transformers
– Super Heroes
– Star Wars
– Minecraft

What is STEM?
– STEM is based on 4 areas: Science, Technology, Engineering & Math
– STEM is a way to inspire and encourage critical thinking skills
– STEM is the process of figuring out solutions to problems
– STEM can be a simple (or complex) paper plane

What is Not STEM?
– STEM is not simply technology such as computers or robotics
– STEM is not how much an activity costs
– STEM is not step by step instructions on how to complete a task or
– STEM is not just an acronym

STEM Camp is trying something new this year. While some activities will be a shared experience across all age groups we are introducing “electives” to campers of all ages who will be presented with different activities from which to choose for the afternoon session. It will be an amazing journey with loads of fun and learning. Join us this summer!

The Great Big Theatre Company
Business Description:

Great Big Theatre Company is a non-profit organization and registered charity with twenty years of experience in the area of arts education. Our mandate is the promotion of drama education for young people and the development of drama programs and productions for audiences of families and children.

GBTC is local and community-based. Our instructors have a background in acting, drama, and the arts and are experienced and qualified in working with children; all have been trained in our curriculum and its implementation. We place a high priority on student safety; all our staff and instructors are reference-checked and police-checked. All staff are required to adhere to our defined safety policies. We provide an enriching, supportive and cooperative environment for our students so as to foster inclusiveness, respect, responsibility, and creativity.

We also make subsidies available to families, so that, as much as possible, no child will be prevented from attending due to financial circumstances. In the summer of 2014, we provided 75 fully subsidized camperships to families in need of assistance. GBTC is a registered federal charitable organization and is also registered as a non-profit organization in Ontario. Contributions, donations of materials, and volunteer involvement are always welcome. We also accept donations to our Camp Fund from the general public; please see the Donate Now link on our home page. Tax receipts will be issued for all amounts $ 25 and more.

All GBTC programs are coordinated locally under the supervision of our regional office. We take pride in the many cohorts of students who have moved on from our programs to use their skills, and the confidence acquired with us, in successful and advanced careers in many areas of adult life, including acting and the arts.
