DESCRIPTION:The Art Gallery of Burlington is inviting families to get creative this fall with the Clayin’ Around Family Workshop\, led by ceramic artist and educator Nicole Levaque. This hands-on program offers participants the chance to explore the basics of clay and experiment with forms such as animals\, pinch pots\, coil pots\, and more. \nWorkshops will be held onsite at 1333 Lakeshore Road\, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on two Saturdays: September 13\, designed specifically for neurodivergent children and their families\, and September 27\, open to all families. At the end of each session\, participants will choose one piece to be fired and ready for pickup at the gallery within two to four weeks. \nThe program is open to adults accompanied by children ages 4 and up. Costs are $25 per adult and $12 per child\, with member discounts available. \nFamilies interested in the September 13 workshop are encouraged to share any specific needs with Education Coordinator Annie Webber at annie@agb.life to help tailor the experience to each participant.
