First Day of Christmas Open House

Staff and volunteers at Dundurn Castle and the Garden Club of Hamilton will soon be decking the halls in preparation for the annual First Day of Christmas Open House!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2024 (12PM – 4PM)
Join us for a FREE day of festive family fun at Dundurn National Historic Site!
🏰 Wander through Dundurn Castle at your own pace.
🎁 Explore artisan vendors at the Hamilton Museum Shop’s Mini Handmade Market. From scented beeswax candles to local digital art, there is something unique for everyone on your list!
🍎 Grab a snack, a hot drink or delicious apple fritter at our featured food trucks, stationed outside of Dundurn’s Coach House.
🥁 Drop in to The Hamilton Military Museum to try out the brand new augmented reality experience, “Defending the Heights”.
📦️ We are collecting donations for a local food bank, if you are able to contribute a non-perishable food item.
No registration required. Event is first come, first served. Due to the popularity of this event, there will likely be a lineup outside, so please dress for the weather!
