Starting July 9\, families are invited to meet fire crews\, check out fire trucks and learn about fire safety. \nSummer Splash is a fire prevention initiative that encourages residents to meet with and talk to local firefighters and fire prevention team members. The Oakville Fire team will share tips on how to keep children safe from burns and scalds\, information about smoke and fire detection systems\, and how to plan and practice home escape plans. \nThe events are supported by Fortino’s South Oakville and Panago Pizza\, with pizza slices\, water\, and pop available for purchase.
