The event will feature large-scale trucks\, a Burlington Transit bus\, construction equipment\, a snowplow simulator and much more. \n\nTouch-a-Truck is back!\n\n\nTo celebrate Public Works Week\, come join us on Saturday\, May 23\, 2026\, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nelson Park (4183 New St.) for our annual Touch-a-Truck event.\n\n\nThis free\, family-friendly event gives residents and their families a chance to:\n\n\nGet an up-close look at City vehicles\, including a Burlington Transit bus\, street sweeper\, snowplow\, fire truck\, zamboni\, and more!\n Learn about City services by visiting booths hosted by staff from across departments\n Try out snowplow and backhoe simulators\n Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation.\n\n\nAdmission and parking are free. Parking is limited and carpooling or taking Burlington Transit is encouraged.
