DESCRIPTION:Experience the excitement of centuries of culture as dancers from across North America compete to become the Champion of Champions.This event has become a major tourist attraction locally\, nationally and internationally. This year promises to be just as spectacular as the last. \nPrize money is given to those dancers and singers who will be deemed to be the most agile\, astute and exciting. Join us this Civic Holiday long weekend for a four-day celebration of history and heritage along the Welland Canal!  \nIncludes a Boat Parade of Lights\, Kids Zone\, free family entertainment\, craft show\, carnival midway and lighthouse tours.  \nSunday at 10 p.m. Fireworks are free to the general public. Make your way to West Street along the Welland Canal for a spectacular show. After all\, while the creativity of the technicians makes it special\, it’s the families in attendance that make it a success. \n
