Throughout the month\, Indigenous speakers—including Knowledge Keepers\, artists\, and community members—will share stories\, perspectives\, and teachings rooted in culture\, community\, and connection to the land. \nToday: Painted Feather Workshop with Moses Lunham 1:00-3:00 \nJoin us for a hands-on painted feather workshop led by Moses Lunham\, an Anishinaabe artist from Kettle and Stony Point First Nation. Participants will explore their creativity while painting their own unique wooden feather in a welcoming and guided environment. This program includes all required art materials\, as well as a special live raptor visit for inspiration.   $50 \nTeachings of Lacrosse 12:00-1:00 and 2:00-3:00 \nJoin Kevin Sandy of the Iroquois Lacrosse Program in the Longhouse Village for an engaging presentation on lacrosse\, exploring the history\, teachings\, and cultural significance of the game. Through storytelling\, discussion\, and hands-on demonstrations\, visitors will learn about lacrosse as more than just a sport. Two one-hour sessions will be held during the day. Jun. 5! \nWhen a green ogre named Shrek discovers his swamp has been ‘swamped’ with all sorts of fairytale creatures by the scheming Lord Farquaad\, Shrek sets out with a very loud donkey by his side to ‘persuade’ Farquaad to give Shrek his swamp back. Instead\, a deal is made. Farquaad\, who wants to become the King\, sends Shrek to rescue Princess Fiona\, who is awaiting her true love in a tower guarded by a fire-breathing dragon. But once they head back with Fiona\, it starts to become apparent that not only does Shrek begin to fall in love with the lovely princess\, but Fiona is also hiding a huge secret. \n
