When and Where is the Children’s Festival in 2022?

Burlington’s Children’s Festival is back for 2022 and has a new look for this year! To connect with more people closer to home, you can check out 3 Kids Mini Fests at a park near you! This year, the children’s festival won’t be held at Spencer Smith Park.

Burlington Children’s Festival is a much-loved annual event that we are so excited to see back for 2022. This year the City of Burlington is hosting 3 simultaneous Kids Mini Fests at 3 parks. Each park will host the same lineup of events, so you can choose the park closest to you for convenience!

Three locations will be home to Mini Kids Fest this year, each with similar programming and activities happening all day for kids and families. All three Mini Kids Fests will happen on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parks playing host this year are Brant Hills Park, Cumberland Park and Millcroft Park.

Brant Hills Park – 2255 Brant Street (northwest Burlington)

Cumberland Park – 562 Cumberland Ave. (south-central Burlington)

Millcroft Park 4520 Millcroft Park Drive (northeast Burlington)

What is Children’s Festival All About?

Children’s Festival has been a full day of free, kid-friendly activities. In past years, the annual Children’s Festival has included magicians, face-painting, and balloon artists as well as games and crafts. Local businesses and vendors are invited as well, which gives the community a chance to meet service and program providers in person and learn more.

Active Parents has been there in past years and it’s one of the best ways we connected with YOU in real life! We’ve seen dance studios perform and musicians treat us to songs and singing. Martial Arts and gymnastics clubs offer demonstrations and

There is also a vendor aspect to the event where you can find great local business owners who cater to kids and families.
