It’s the first big City of Burlington event of the summer, and Burlington Kite Festival has something for everyone in your family! Here is why my family thinks you will love it too.
Building a kite that ACTUALLY flies is definitely the highlight for my almost-8-year-old. We’ve taken ours to the park since last year’s festival and it still flies! P.S. not only is this the super fun part, it’s secretly educational, too!
Addisons favourite part of Kite Festival is getting her “hair did”. Good thing Sundays are bath nights, right!?
Meeting Your Community Supporters!
We are so proud to be part of events that provide families a great way to get out and play, explore their city, and have fun. Our fellow sponsors feel the same, and for that, we’re super appreciative! Stop in and see them, and maybe offer up a high-5!
I love hot dogs, and about 10 years ago, Maple Lodge Farms converted me into a chicken dog lover for life. Clearly, their mobile events truck is a highlight for me! But be sure to try something else from the menu, too!
EVery booth has friendly faces to meet, and fun ways to keep the kids amused. Plus, it’s not every day that you’re hoisted into the air by a Mountie!
I hope you’ll stop by and see me on Sunday, show off your kite, and collect some freebies, too! I always appreciate a high-5 and meeting the families who have helped make Active Parents what is it today!
