Things To Do on Saturday

Free family yoga in the parkJoin Active Parents and Ainslee MacRae for a free outdoor family yoga session in Wellington Park! Enjoy the fresh air and relaxation while we move our bodies and welcome in warm spring temperatures! No previous yoga / fitness experience necessary. Kids always welcome.

Family Play Fit is the spot to be active together as a family. Enjoy and enhance your child’s FUNdamental Movement skills by trying out our Physical Literacy stations at your own pace.


Shopkins and Lego Minifigure Swap at Burlington Indigo!! Come bring your doubles and trade with other children.


The Michaels Kids Club is where your kids explore their creativity while you shop! Choose from two projects designed specifically for your little maker’s age range.


Read together! The Burlington Public Library has multiple Story Time sessions happening today at a branch near you.


Cineplex’s $2.99 family favourite movies continue every Saturday at 11:00 a.m. It’s a fun and affordable way to enjoy time with your family and friends! This weekend, watch A Dog’s Way Home


Love to play basketball? Come practice your 3-pointer or work on your jump shot, youth can drop-in to shoot some hoops at Brant Hills Community Centre at 1 pm.


At Michaels Make Break workshops, paint a fruity mason jar! Buy the wooden base and the supplies to decorate it will be provided.


Just because the snow is gone, doesn’t mean ice-skating has to come to an end! Burlington has indoor skate times and drop-in shinny sessions over the weekend perfect for families.




Things To Do on Sunday


Join Active Parents at the 28th annual Burlington Kite Festival. Celebrate diversity and let fun take flight! Be active and creative while kicking off summer. Free kite making kit (while supplies last) as well as activities and entertainment.  


Parents can join Free Yoga in the Park every Sunday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am, while kids get their move on at our Free Fitness Pop-Ups. Encouraging children to be active and have fun in nontraditional activities.


Tinker! is the perfect drop-in activity for your kids who like to take apart and build creations. Kids get safety goggles and real tools and get to spend their time taking apart old electronics.


Drop into the City of Burlington’s open gym time for families. This is your opportunity to shoot some hoops, practice your shots, and get in a little active time with your family. Ages 5-12 with an adult.


Open Studio at the Art Gallery of Burlington – Drop into this family-friendly creative space where kids and parents are encouraged to tap into their artistic side!


Each Sunday of the month our volunteer Back to Nature hike leaders offer free hikes through the vast ecosystems of RBG’s lands, allowing people to familiarize themselves with the area so they can continue to explore with their friends and family.
