The forecast calls for a hot, wet weekend, but the Weekend Wrap Up shows nothing but FAMILY FUN for the next 2 days! Ignore the skies and start planning some adventure into your days off!

Saturday

Beat the rain and spend your afternoon playing at The Brightside Initiative ‘s drop in program! It’s for children of all ages and their parents! They provide opportunities for children and their parents to engage in open ended, creative fun. Their creative curators are on the ground playing with the participants and helping to push the play forward!

Bring Dad and the whole family to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum for a day of fun and flying. Many of the Museum’s vintage aircraft will be flown throughout both days but the best part is – YOU can be part of the action!

Perfect for Father’s Day weekend – Dads and their children have the chance to talk with other dads and kids, plus learn games and songs and play with their children at the OEYC Dad’s Program.

Rainy days are the perfect setting for a family movie! Surprise your kids with a big-screen viewing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them at The Cineplex Family Favourite movies are only $2.99 each!

Kids 3 and up can make Dad a Father’s Day photo frame gift at Michaels stores. Only $2 per child reserves 30 minutes for your creative kid to make a lovely keepsake of their family.

Join Conservation Halton at the Bronte Creek Family Fun Day & Duck Dash in Courtcliffe Park, Carlisle, Hamilton. This free family event teaches kids and adults about Bronte Creek and aquatic ecosystems.

Springridge Farm knows the way to Dad’s heart is through his stomach, and their annual Food Truck Festival has more food trucks than Dad (and you!) can handle – 12 in all, and you can see the line up here.

Drop into the gym at Brant Hills this weekend for Play Fit with the family to explore new toys and equipment. Enjoy the experience and enhance your child’s FUNdamental Movement Skills.
